“Blind Side” movie is a true story about Michael Oher. He was a football player in American team called Baltimore Ravens.

Michael remains without shelter. Well-to-do family takes him under guardianship. It changes Michael’s life. Being a self-contained teenager Oher starts realize his potential. He enters Mississippi university where plays in students team. There he learns game strategic and tactic analysis. Knowing that brains often take a victory over muscles helps him to get professional league. 

The movie director John Lee Hancock made the perfect movie. It was released in 2009 and become one of the year favorites. This sports drama movie won Golden Globe and viewers’ love. Even if you are not a football fan you will like it for sure. Bright characters, star cast and exciting plot make the movie interesting for all genders and ages.

The movie stars several current and former NCCA coaches including Houston Nutt and Ed Orgeron.

Top critics gave the good mark for the movie. Many of them think it’s the best role of Sandra Bullock which is worthy of Oscar. Owen Gleiberman said: "a feel-good movie that never stops feeling good. The film is based on a true story..., but you never honestly feel that Hancock has captured what's true about it... He's so devoted to showing us what upbeat, selfless folks Leigh Anne and her family are that the movie never quite gets around to discovering what any of those far superior saintly-family TV shows surely would have: a dramatic conflict... what The Blind Side offers is a kind of liberal Hollywood version of conservative values: all rock-solid valor, all the time. The result isn't solid at all — it's more like cotton-candy uplift."
